Pesto is amazing. You only need a little. It is also great for immunity and skin. Below is an easy pesto recipe that takes no time. Bring basic meals or good quality crackers to life with a little dollop of pesto.
- 2 Cups Fresh Basil Leaves
- 1/2 Cups Parmesan Cheese
- 1/2 Cup Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
- 3 Cloves Minced Garlic
- Pinch of Sea Salt
In your food processor or blender, first place basil and pine nuts. Give it a few good pulses.
Then, add in the cheese and garlic. Give it a few good pulses. Keep in mind you will want to scrape down the sides of the ingredients in between pulses so it blends well.
Then, slowly add in the extra-virgin olive oil as the processor is running. If you have a blender, just add in the extra-virgin olive.
Season with your sea salt and cracked pepper.
