Spring is in full swing and here are some ways to clean up your kitchen & nutrition!
Throw Out The Junk
Want to know a good way to avoid eating junk food? Don’t buy it. Junk food is harder to eat when it is out of the house or in a trashcan.
Start Drinking
Put down the soda or sugar drinks and start reaching for the water. Sass water up too. Add some lemon, limes, mint leaves, or frozen berries. Enjoy some soda water or experiment with herbal tea. It is very refreshing, especially on warmer days.
Cut Down on Carbs
That is right cut down on the carbs. Try to get carbohydrate intake from vegetables, quinoa, garbanzo beans, yams, fruits, or sweet potatoes. Some nights try to keep your dinner to just meat and veggies.
Cut OUT the Sugar
Sugar wreaks havoc. As a recovering sweet tooth gal, I can honestly say this. The LESS YOU HAVE IT, THE LESS YOU WILL WANT IT. Don’t believe me? I dare you to cut it out for a couple of weeks and then see how your cravings are. I promise you will be surprised. That is Not to say I NEVER have sugar but it is far and few in between compared to what it used to be.
Sleep
Make sure sleep and relaxation are part of your routine. A lack of sleep or not eating enough calories can lead to intense sugar cravings too. Make sure you are getting a good amount of sleep and eating a well-balanced diet, full of quality protein, veggies, and healthy fat.

It’s that time of the year again and I got a head start this season. I donated 12 pairs of jeans and I still have to tackle my craft closet, which will take an entire day. Oh wait, you want me to clean up my diet. Oh Gina you always keep me on track.
Will do! 🙂
Oh I love it! Thank you for stopping by! XO
