This is one of our favorite salads. Take your Vitamin C intake to next level with this bowl of goodness.
Grapefruit, Romaine & Red Onion Salad
- 2-3 Heads of Romaine Lettuce
- 1-2 Lemons
- 1-3 TBS Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 Large Grapefruit
- 3/4 Red Onion
- 2-3 Stevia
- Sea Salt
- Cracked Pepper
Chop Romaine Salad.
Finely chop 3/4 of a red onion.
Cut 3/4 of grapefruit into slices. Set 1/4 of the grapefruit aside. This will be used to squeeze over the salad.
In a large mixing bowl mix in all the ingredients with the exception of the lemon and 1/4 of the grapefruit.
Once all ingredients are mixed well, squeeze the lemon and remaining grapefruit over the tossed salad and mix one more time.
