Gin Basil Smash
- 10 Basil Leaves
- Truvia Simple syrup (1/2 cup of Truvia + 1/2 cup of water)
- 2 Large Lemons
- 4 Oz Good & Clean Quality Gin
- Super Cold Topico Sparkling Mineral Water
Mix 1/2 cup of Truvia with 1/2 cup of water.
Combine basil leaves, Truvia simple syrup and squeezed lemon juice in a cocktail shaker. Crush the basil till bruised with a muddler, which will release the oils. The juice may turn green, it is no biggie - think of all the antioxidants you have coming your way.
Pour in the gin and ice cubes. Place lid on top of the shaker and shake well. Shake the container until the outside of the cocktail shaker is cold - this is how you know it is ready.
Strain into a tall cocktail glass & add super cold Topico Sparkling Mineral Water. Enjoy!
