Hearty Mustard Greens & Garlic Sautée

This is a great dish that pairs well with any protein and is packed with nutrient goodness.


Hearty Mustard Green Sauté


  • 2-3 Bushels Mustard greens
  • 2-4 Garlic cloves
  • 1/2 Sweet onion
  • 2 TBS Extra-virgin olive oil
  • Avocado cooking spray
  • 2-3 TBS Low-sodium chicken broth
  • Sea salt
  • Cracked pepper


  1. Clean and chop mustard greens, stem included.

  2. Chop 1/2 onion.

  3. Mince garlic.

  4. Spray pan with avocado cooking spray.

  5. On medium-high heat begin to sauté the onions. Usually takes a few minutes.

  6. Then, add in the garlic and sauté the garlic and onion together. Add in a little extra-virgin olive oil

  7. After about a minute or two, add in the mustard greens with a little more extra-virgin olive oil and chicken broth.

  8. Sautee for about 5 minutes. Season and enjoy!
