This is a great dish that pairs well with any protein and is packed with nutrient goodness.
Hearty Mustard Green Sauté
- 2-3 Bushels Mustard greens
- 2-4 Garlic cloves
- 1/2 Sweet onion
- 2 TBS Extra-virgin olive oil
- Avocado cooking spray
- 2-3 TBS Low-sodium chicken broth
- Sea salt
- Cracked pepper
Clean and chop mustard greens, stem included.
Chop 1/2 onion.
Spray pan with avocado cooking spray.
On medium-high heat begin to sauté the onions. Usually takes a few minutes.
Then, add in the garlic and sauté the garlic and onion together. Add in a little extra-virgin olive oil
After about a minute or two, add in the mustard greens with a little more extra-virgin olive oil and chicken broth.
Sautee for about 5 minutes. Season and enjoy!
