If you have an air-fryer - this beef patty tastes amazing when using it and will help reduce excess fat. Either oven or air-fryer is a great way to cook these patties. I personally love the air-fryer.
Pre-heat air-fryer to 400 F or oven to 425 F.
Finely chop basil leaves. I love to use my kitchen scissors instead of a knife to do this.
Mix the ground beef with the basil, cinnamon, granulated garlic, a little extra-virgin olive oil and sea salt & and pepper until evenly combined. Shape into quarter-pound burger patties and place on the cooking sheet if using an oven. Be sure to spray cooking sheet with coconut oil spray. If using a air-fryer, simply plop the patties down.
Bake or air-fry for 15 - 20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 155˚F (for medium). Remove from oven or air fryer. Allow burgers to rest for 5 minutes to continue cooking.
Top with goat cheese and basil leaves (totally up to you though - your burger your way!)
