Bun-less Burger, Brussels Sprouts, and Side of Antioxidants

Ingredients

  • 2-4 Good quality meat patties
  • 1 Packet Trader Joe's Shaved Brussels Sprouts
  • Maniatis Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
  • Trader Joe's Avocado Cooking Spray
  • Happy Cow Aged Chedder Spread Optional
  • Large Lettuce Leave For Wraps Optional

Instructions

  1. Coat cooking pan with avocado cooking spray

  2. Cook patties on medium to high heat for about 3-5 minutes on each side. Depends on how your stove heat, style of pan, and how many patties you may have on at one time.

  3. Just make sure the internal temperature for chicken comes to 165 F and for beef at least 145 F.

  4. While the patties are going, you can have another pan going that has also been lightly coated with avocado cooking spray. Make sure it is on medium-high heat.

  5. Sauté the brussels sprouts and add in a little extra virgin olive oil and the Vinter's Kitchen Carbernet Wine.

  6. Once the meat and shaved Brussels Sprouts are done to your liking, remove them each from the pans and plate.

  7. I chose to spread on the Laughing Cow-Aged Cheddar and used a little more of the Vinter's Kitchen seasoning on both the Brussels Sprouts and burger.
