Grapefruit & Basil Salad

One of the greatest things about October is not on the month but it is the beginning of grapefruit harvest time. Here is a great dish that is loaded with antioxidants!

Grapefruit & Basil Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 Large Grapefruits
  • 1 Bunch Basil
  • 1/2 Thinly Sliced Red Onion Optional
  • 3 TBSP Glazed Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 TBSP Extra-Virgin Olive
  • Sea Salt & Cracked Pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut grapefruit. In the notes is a good how-to-cut grapefruit video.

  2. Thinly slice onions

  3. Mix all the ingredients above into a bowl and enjoy!

  4. The onion is optional. I personally love it but may be too strong for some.
