One of the greatest things about October is not on the month but it is the beginning of grapefruit harvest time. Here is a great dish that is loaded with antioxidants!
Grapefruit & Basil Salad
- 2 Large Grapefruits
- 1 Bunch Basil
- 1/2 Thinly Sliced Red Onion Optional
- 3 TBSP Glazed Balsamic Vinegar
- 2 TBSP Extra-Virgin Olive
- Sea Salt & Cracked Pepper
Cut grapefruit. In the notes is a good how-to-cut grapefruit video.
Thinly slice onions
Mix all the ingredients above into a bowl and enjoy!
The onion is optional. I personally love it but may be too strong for some.
