Crispy Sesame Teriyaki Chicken

Looking for a way to take your chicken to the next level? Try this easy recipe. Right before I go on my evening walk or get in an after-work workout I marinade the chicken. It’s one of my favorite health/cooking hacks.

Crispy Sesame Teriyaki Chicken


  • 2-5 Tenderized Chicken Breasts I purchase the thin cut
  • 1 Good Quality Sesame Teriyaki Marinade
  • 1/2 TBSP Tapioca
  • 1/2 Cup Coconut Flour


  1. Marinate chicken for about 1 hour in the sesame teriyaki marinade. Simply place the chicken in a large bowl. Dump the marinade in, cover, and place in the fridge.

  2. When you are ready, preheat your air fryer. Temperature and time do vary due to the size and speed at which it heats. But do keep in mind air fryers heat higher and faster than the conventional ovens and tenderized/thin cuts of chicken breasts cook the quickest.

  3. In a bowl mix in the tapioca and coconut flour.

  4. Dip marinated chicken in mix and place in the air fryer.

  5. Mine is large enough to fit all 4. I do a few minutes on one side and then about 8 minutes on the next side.

  6. Make sure internal chicken comes to 165 F.

  7. Once chicken is cooked through, remove from air fryer and enjoy!
